04/17/2007 Il Comitato tecnico della FAO sulle questioni del commercio e dei prodotti (Committee on Commodity Problems - CCP) si riunirà a Roma dal 23 al 25 Aprile. All'ordine del giorno questioni molto importanti, come lo stato dei negoziati commerciali internazionali sull'agricoltura, il ruolo di alcuni prodotti agricoli determinanti per la sopravvivenza e il benessere delle comunità contadine, o "prodotti speciali", la gestione dell'offerta dei prodotti a livello globale. Il CCP sarà immediatamentre seguito dal Comitato FAO sull'Agricoltura (COAG) che discuterà, tra le altre cose, il seguito da dare alla Conferenza Internazionale sulla Riforma Agraria e lo Sviluppo Rurale che si è tenuta in Brasile nel marzo 2006. La società civile europea ha programmato per il 19 aprile una giornata di mobilitazione sugli Accordi di Partenariato Economico (EPA/APE), cioè la creazione di aree di libero scambio che l'Europa sta negoziando con 77 sue ex colonie di Africa, Caraibi e Pacifico.
