02/28/2007 La Cooperazione allo Sviluppo del Ministero degli Affari Esteri italiano lancia un “Piano d'Azione per l'empowerment delle donne in Africa Occidentale”, nel corso della conferenza “Le donne protagoniste: dialogo tra i Paesi dell'Africa Occidentale e la Cooperazione Italiana” che si terrà il 2 e 3 marzo a Bamako (Mali). Il Convegno vuole essere un primo importante passo per un “dialogo di cooperazione” aperto e continuo con le differenti realtà regionali africane" si legge in una nota del ministero degli Esteri. La due giorni si articola in quattro seminari su "Lotta alla povertà e empowerment economico", "Salute, diritti riproduttivi e lotta alla violenza contro le donne", "Presenza delle donne nella governance e nelle situazioni di conflitto e post conflitto" e "Migrazioni".
