09/27/2007 The Independent Peoples Tribunal (IPT) on the World Bank in India has held the Bank’s policies and projects guilty of causing untold sufferings among millions of poor and of violating human rights. The four-day hearing was attended by activists, civil society groups, academics, policy analysts and project affected communities who presented evidence against the Bank.

09/07/2007 Il mercato immobiliare continua a rappresentare un rischio per l’economia degli Stati Uniti dove c'è stata una forte impennata nell'esecuzione dei pignoramenti ed espropriazioni di appartamenti ed edifici: 179.600 nel solo mese di luglio. Il senatore C. Dodd retiene che “da uno a tre milioni di persone potrebbero perdere la loro casa”. "Queste poche cifre indicano con chiarezza la gravità della crisi del settore inmobiliario degli Stati Uniti che veniva sistematicamente ignorata o minimizzata. Ora che l'esplosione è avvenuta, emergono le caratteristiche distruttrici di un collasso che sta facendo tremare il cosiddetto sistema finanziario internazionale" - afferma l'analista geopolitico Tito Pulsinelli in un articolo per Selvas.org. La Banca Centrale Europea (BCE) finora ha emesso 120 miliardi di dollari per soccorrere i truffatori d'oltreoceano e i loro compari speculatori delle banche europee. "Si premiano gli infami, li si incoraggia a perseverare. E' una autentica istigazione a delinquere" - commenta Pulsinelli.
