In early June, Bhopal activists, including survivors of the 1984 explosion of a Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal, India, began an indefinite hunger strike to demand justice for those affected by the poisonous disaster. Supporters can demonstrate solidarity and help pressure the Indian prime minister into action by undertaking a personal fast for a day or half of a day.
