Una vez más, la ciudadanía costarricense ha salido a las calles a expresar su repudio al TLC que el gobierno de Abel Pacheco negoció con los Estados Unidos, y que el actual presidente, Oscar Arias Sánchez, respalda por completo. Se estima que unas 75 mil personas participaron en la Jornada Nacional de lucha contra el TLC convocada por la Coordinadora Nacional y múltiples organizaciones populares.

Inicijativa nevladinih organizacija iz Vojvodine za bojkot referenduma o novom Ustavu Srbije uputila je zahtev tužilaštvu i nadležnim organima gonjenja da po službenoj dužnosti započnu istragu o incidentima u Beogradu, na kojima je grupa izgrednika na nacionalnoj osnovi vređala čitav jedan narod, aktiviste NVO i lidere političkih partija iz Beograda koje se zalažu za bojkot referenduma o ustavu Srbije.

Concerning trade union rights, on the 3rd October, Turkey received a strong message delivered by Olli Rehn, the Finnish European Commissioner, who is responsible for enlargement. According to him Turkey needs to ensure that full Trade Union rights are respected in line with EU standards and ILO Conventions.
