Global Anti-Nuke Movement Demands Phase-Out Plans by May
An international network of over 2000 organizations has called on all nations to come to May's global summit on nuclear proliferation with a plan for phasing out all nuclear weapons by 2020. The groups have offered a blueprint for an International Sustainable Energy Fund to enable countries to transition to clean, safe energy and phase-out nuclear power--a prime source of material for clandestine weapons programs.
