OneWorld Spain urges all OneWorld readers to send letters of condolence to families of the victims of yesterday's bombings.
In a statement issued today, OneWorld Spain said: "March 11th will remain stuck in our memories. The terrorist attack in Madrid has killed already more than 189 people and there are around 1.000 injured. Most of us share pain, anger and mainly impotence and lack of understanding of this terrorist madness. You can express solidarity and support to the victims and their families, and your rejection of terrorist violence. All the messages collected here will be sent to organizations that support terror victims as a sample of the civic responsibility and solidarity in front of this dramatic attack." Send a letter via the Canal Solidario website.
Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have both unconditionally condemned the bombings of innocent civilians in Spain, calling it a potential crime against humanity.
