The Aga Khan has welcomed the announcement by the Government of Canada of its intellectual, institutional and financial contribution to become a partner in the new Global Centre for Pluralism. The mission of the Centre will be to promote pluralist values and practices in culturally diverse societies worldwide to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to realize his or her full potential as a citizen, irrespective of cultural, ethnic or religious differences.

On the last Sunday in May, the World Partnership Walk is coming to a city near you. Thousands of Canadians in cities across the country will be getting together for a day of exercise and fun for a worthy cause. Now in its 21st year, the Walk is Canada’s largest national event raising funds for poverty alleviation in Asia and Africa.
