HIV/AIDS

World leaders aimed to ensure universal access to HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care by 2010, but they have not provided the funds to accomplish those goals. Until a scientific or financial breakthrough is made the disease will continue to ravage poorer countries and communities and undermine efforts to reduce poverty worldwide.

WASHINGTON, Jul 6 (OneWorld.net) - Health and human rights advocates have applauded moves by the U.S. government to repeal a 15-year-old ban on travel to the United States by HIV-positive foreign nationals.
