Centre for Development and Population Activities

The Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA) improves the lives of women and girls worldwide. Our work is grounded in the belief that women are critical for advancing development and democracy. CEDPA's programs: increase educational opportunities for youth; ensure access to reproductive health and HIV/AIDS services; and strengthen women’s leadership and good governance. Our global training programs build leadership, technical expertise and management skills of women on a range of critical development issues. With a growing network of 5,000 alumni and partners in over 150 countries, CEDPA is building a groundswell of change agents for effective international development.
