Mauritania Election Results Challenged

WASHINGTON, Jul 23 (OneWorld.net) - The victory of a former coup leader in Mauritania's presidential election Saturday is being questioned by his opponents, who say the results were "prefabricated" and meant to legitimize the military takeover of last August.
