The small island off the coast of Australia aims to ban anyone suffering from HIV or Hepatitis from staying on the island for longer than the 30 days stipulated on a tourist visa. "It's simply inappropriate for someone to expect to just move to Norfolk Island and become a burden on the Norfolk Island health scheme if they have one of those difficulties," said John Brown, the local lawmaker.
