WASHINGTON, Jul 28 (OneWorld.net) - Riots have been raging in South Africa for the past week over the poor condition of shelter, sanitation, water, and electricity in many townships, a reflection of the global economic crisis' impact on urban poor in the country, said a United Nations housing expert.
